Merging Tracts

Sorry if this was covered today. I missed the first part.
I have mapped two separate boundaries that appear on two separate maps, but the properties are adjacent. Is there some way to merge the two maps so that both are visible in the same view?
Thanks,
Chuck

Hi Charles,

I dont' know what you mean about "covering this today" and "missing the first part" (perhaps Caroline did some sort of webinar), but I can certainly try to help you with your problem. It may be easier to get on a phone call together, but I will do my best to explain. If you have created 2 separate properties, they cannot be merged by any automated process, but that doesn't mean you cannot edit 1 or both of them to reflect the current state of your property. Boundary maps can have multiple boundaries on them. You would need to revist the boundary map for whichever property you wish to edit, and then click the "add boundary" button to draw in the missing boundary (the one thats in the 2nd property). We do have a pretty good video about working with property boundaries if you have not seen it. It may help you understand the mapping options. It's located at: http://mylandplan.org/video/how-add-property

If you still have problems, feel free to give me a call at 574-222-2769 and we can talk through things on the phone. We can even try to setup a screenshare if that would be helpful.
