In My Land Plan how do I draw boundary lines that are exact to the description in the land deed?

I drew boundary lines around my mom's tract of land, but the amount of acreage showing as numbers is more than she actually has. So this means my drawing must be off. Is there a way to use the exact boundary lines as specified in her land deed in drawing these boundary lines so they will be correct and then the amount of acreage will also be correct?

Hi Jean,

The acreage calculation is an approxmiate, so it will likely never be the exact same as what is on your deed. As far as using the exact boundary lines goes, right now the drawing is the only way. We are working on a way to adjust a single point to specific latitude/longitude coordinates for a more precise fit. I don't have a timeline for the launch of this feature, but it will be coming eventually.
