how can I give access o mylandplan to a wildlife biologist?
Hello Tim,
You can give access to your plan to a forester, but the plan is pretty minimal. Here are the steps you need to do in order to make this happen. First off, when you login to the site you will be taken to the
"My Plan" page and you will want to click on the "overview" button next to the property you wish to give plan access. If you only have one property it will be obvious, buti f you ahve more than one, you need to click the correct overview button.
Once you are on the overview page of the correct property, you will want to scroll down the page a bit and find the section that has to do with foresters. Clicking the foresters heading will open up that pane, and you will see the first 3 that are closest to your property address. You will also see a button that will link you out to the entire list of foresters where you can find one that suits your needs.
After you have decided on a forester, you will see a button the left side of their page that says "request access". This is what starts the process to give minimal acccess to your properties information. The button is shown on the left and is highlighted in red.
Once you click on the "Request access" page you will be taken to the form that you need to fill out to give the access. If you have more than one property, it will want you to select which property or properties that you wish this forester to get some information about. You can then also fill in some information is the textarea to tell them what you are interested in doing, leave them contnact info, etc. The finall page looks like this:
They will be notified by email that they have access to some of your plan info, and when they visit their forester page, only they will be able to see that your property is there and availble for them to reveiw. This is really meant to kind of get the ball rolling and get you aquainted where you can do a more in depth dive in person. Hope this information has been helpful.
