Tech And Your Woods
How can you use technology to improve the wildlife in your woods?
Register for the Tech in Your Woods field day on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 9.30 am to 3 pm for a field day on the Arington Tree Farm. Space is limited so reserve your spot today!
The field day will include sessions on technology that you can use including:
- MyLandPlan.org: a website developed for woodland owners where you can map your land, set your goals and plan for activities to improve the health of your land and the animals that call it home.
- Web Soil Survey: an online tool you can use to learn more about the soils found in your woods.
- Drones: look at your land from a new perspective!
- Demonstrations in the field on how the Arington Tree Farm uses technology to improve wildlife habitat in their woods.
