Thanks so much for reaching out!  Glad you are interested in getting started and we are hear to help connect you with professionals in your area.  The Addison County Forester is Chris Olson and you can reach out to him at chris.olson@vermont.gov.  I'd also recommend connecting with Woods, Wildlife and Warblers program in Vermont.  This program is working to give southern Vermont landowners the knowledge, tools and resources they need to better care for their woods.  They can connect you with local experts and have great events including the Forest and Shrubland Bird Conservation Workshop on Friday June 14th, 2019 and the Forestry for the Birds: Working Woodlands Workshop on Saturday, May 18th, 2019. 

With your MyLandPlan.org account, when you are logged in, you can also search the MyLandPlan.org Forestry Directory and find foresters in your area.  You can look at their profiles and find a forester that matches your goals and interests.
