In 2000 I received my Masters of Forest Science from Yale University, School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelors in Science and a major in Biology.
I have worked for the American Forest Foundation since 2008. Currently I am the Senior Manager for Woodland Owner Engagement where I lead our outreach efforts to woodland owners across the country, including the certified Family Forest Owners who are a part of the American Tree Farm System (ATFS). ATFS is the largest and oldest sustainable woodland system in America, internationally recognized, meeting third-party certification standards.

I am also the Project Manager for the website. I work closely with our developers from DJ Case to maintain the site and develop new features and functionality based on the feedback from our users. And I work with excellent science writers to develop new content for the site. Finally I send the weekly Tips for Landowners emails and hand feedback from our users.
