My Alabama Woods Forester: Brian Bradley

Meet Brian Bradley

After graduating with a Forest Management degree from Auburn, I  started a 30 year career with the Alabama Forestry Commission. Working in the field while with the Commission took us to Macon and Jefferson counties, down to the Wiregrass where our two daughters were born and then finally up to north Alabama--thanks to my future boss and now good friend Sam Gravel.

I was fortunate to work for the visionary state forester, Bill Moody, and the birth and growth of the TREASURE Forest program. Embracing the core values of multiple use forest management allowed me to work with many private landowners each having  varying ownership objectives.

Retired since 2004, Katherine, my wife of over 40 years, and I enjoy spending time with our three wonderful grandchildren, along with their moms and dads. Nonetheless, I'm excited to have been selected for a part-time job with the Natural Resource Conservation Service and once again having the privilege of helping landowners reach their goals.
