Arthur Clothier, Sumter County Forester
I have been your Sumter County Forester since November 3, 2010. I started my career with the Florida Forest Service (FFS) over 22 years ago on July 15, 1994. During my career I have served as the Pasco County Forester, CARL Lands Forester, Timber Forester on the Withlacoochee State Forest and the Resource Unit Leader on the Citrus Canker Eradication Program in Broward County. I have worked on US Forest Service inventory and recreation projects in Washington State and Minnesota. I am a veteran of the US Coast Guard (Gunner’s Mate 2nd Class) and a graduate of the College of Agricultural Sciences at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale (B.S. Forest Management).
