Escambia County Forester, Cathy Hardin
I am the Escambia County Forester for the Florida Forest Service. I enjoy assisting private and public landowners to reach their goals and steward creation through forest land management recommendations, identifying individual tree issues, and forest education. I was the Gadsden County Forester from 2010-2014. Previously, I held an environmental specialist position performing BMP audits and presenting training workshops for industry, public agencies, and small private landowners across northwest Florida. I graduated from the University of Florida-Milton in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources Conservation. I began working with the Division of Forestry in 2004 after Hurricane Ivan. I am a lifelong resident of the Florida panhandle.
