Greg Staten, Hamilton County Senior CFA Forester, Florida Forest Service
I have been working as the Hamilton County CFA Senior Forester for the Florida Forest Service for the past 10 years. For almost two years prior to that I was the BMP Forester for the Florida Forest Service for the Florida Panhandle. I graduated from the University of Georgia School of Forest Resources, and acquired almost 17 years of forest industry experience prior to starting a new career with the State of Florida in late 2005. My job involves assistance to private landowners by providing them with information and guidance on how to best manage their forest property to reach their particular objectives. When I’m not working as a forester, I spend a lot of my time buying and selling antique cars and parts.
