I began my career as a Cooperative Forestry Assistance Forester in 1989 in South Florida and relocated to Central Florida in 1994. I provide rural forestry assistance to landowners in Orange, Osceola, Seminole, and Brevard counties. Additional job responsibilities include urban forestry assistance to local communities and environmental education.
I received a Bachelor of Forest Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. I am an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist, Project Learning Tree Facilitator, and Certified Prescribed Burner.
I enjoy providing private landowners with the tools they need to better manage their forests. The opportunity to educate youth and adults about the positive impact forestland has on the quality of life and the economy is a very rewarding part of my job.
